Ninja Drools #21 Asian Diet Food

10:30 AM Posted by ninja 3 comments

Is the summer... and my cloth doesn't fit = I am officially on a diet. There are certainly no shortage of diet plans out there but as an Asian I just can't handle eating salad day after day. I need something... salty and Asian testing to feel like I actually ate something.

So here are my effort to eat better with the kind of food that I can actually stomach.

Dinner: A clear chicken soup with shiitake mushrooms (I used fresh ones), daikon and tofu. Sushi with Korean seasoned seaweed, fried ground turkey with green onion and napa cabbage, brown rice.

I would love to hear some of you guys' suggestions on what kind of food you eat when you want to simply eat better and/or lose weight. So please share since I could use all the help I can get!

Drama Food This Week (NOT diet friendly but so yummy for the eye.)
Make a Woman Cry (K-Drama)

 High Society (K-Drama Ep.4)

  1. Just wandered on your blog and saw this post. Hit straight home as I'm currently substituting a mix of Kefir's yogurt and Quaker Oats for lunch. Your meals looks more appetizing as yogurt + oatmeal usually has me craving savory foods for dinner. On the list of Asian diet staples is also the misugaru + ice smoothie during summer, have you tried that? Though flavorless without either a spoon of nutella or honey, it's low in calories and keeps you full for a good 3-4 hours.

    1. THANK YOU! I have never tried misugaru, but I think that might just be the thing I needed to solve my breakfast dilemma and afternoon munchies.
